A Distinct Identity
The Friends of the Lincoln City Parks & Recreation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization that is dedicated to providing support for and enhancement of current and future services and programs provided by Lincoln City Parks and Recreation. Funds provided by The Friends of Lincoln City Parks & Recreation are used as a supplement to the Parks and Recreation budget and do not replace allocated tax dollars. These additional funds help improve and enhance services provided by the Parks and Recreation Department.

Fundraising with a Mission of Service
Friends of Lincoln City Parks & Recreation is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference in our community.
Recognizing that the Parks and Recreation Department's budget is limited, and the community wants to enjoy as many programs as possible, a group of volunteers came together to form the Friends Group to build upon the work already in progress and engage the greater Lincoln City community in fundraising.
